Practical Mutualism

My inspiration for this Project came from two sources. As a young child I was told that my Great Grandmother would feed itinerant workers (swaggies) during the Great Depression. Before she would give them a feed she insisted that they work in the vegetable garden. This was to ensure that there would be food for the others coming along in the future. This made so much sense to me. As an adult I read of a famous architect who would not take on students or apprentices unless they were willing to live on his farm, build their own accommodation, and grow their own food as well. Why would you do it any other way?
